Participatory project in Grisoles, France

INFORMATION

BazarUrbain+Adian Torres+ De l’aire for a commission from Adefpat (regional support) to revitalise the town centre of Grisolles, France a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department (population 4,000). The key issues are maintaining retail activity, the place of play in the town and the quality of public spaces. De l’aire is working in association with Pauline Scherer (sociologist), Nicolas Tixier (urban planning architect), Adrián Torres Astaburuaga (architect) and Mathieu Roy (graphic designer) to run public and participatory workshops involving elected representatives, residents, shopkeepers and associations, with the aim of creating a cooperative group that will continue to work on projects, experiments and solutions for the life of their town centre.
