Parc de la Reynerie, Le mirail, Toulouse. Participatory redesign
2016
INFORMATION
The Mirail district of Toulouse, designed and built by Candilis between 1961 and 1981, includes Le Parc and Lac Reynerie, exceptional sites that are often overlooked by the general public and are now at the heart of the transformation of a district that was conceived as a modern utopia, but is no longer so. Toulouse Métropole has launched a project to develop the site. A week of consultation took place from April 11 to 16, 2016.16 workshops were organized aiming through different formats, locations and times to reach as wide a public as possible. The aim was to re-design and re-programme the park in order to stimulate new developments and revitalize the Park and Lake.
