European Programme: Youth in Action.
Objective: Intercultural exchange between countries through the acquisition of knowledge about bio-construction with cane. Construction of a cane and adobe dome.
Workshop leader: CANYA VIVA
Organised by: Agathas Association, Carlos Bug, Jorge Vidal, Nacho Arantegui
In collaboration with: Alagón Town Council (Zaragoza)
web site: www.canevillage.wordpress.com/

Role played in the workshop: Spanish Team Coordinator (Team Leader)

Cane’s own resistance to bending, its plasticity and its abundance in our regions, together with the interesting tying method developed by John Cory-Wright and the fantastic Caña Viva team, make cane a surprising material for architectural plastic experimentation.
